Extravaganza

The 20s were loud, wild - and mercilessly glamorous. Extravaganza brings back the glitter of the golden era and gives it a modern twist. From October 17, you can look forward to a spectacle for all the senses - a frenzy of breathtaking artistry, exciting dance, charming wit and a pinch of stylish extravagance.

International top-class artistry, elaborate costumes and refined culinary delights will whisk you away into a world of glitz, glamor and thrilling entertainment. Dazzling, surprising and guaranteed to be unforgettable.

Notes

The shows might contain short German language parts (especially in the area of comedy). Nevertheless, our shows are also easily appreciated by non-German-speaking guests.


Directions (from IBD Hotel)

Travel time is about 75 minutes ... including some potential waiting time for the trains you will take.
  • Take the foot bridge in front of Maritim Hotel towards the airport terminal C
  • Head for the local transport train station in the basement of terminal C "Düsseldorf Flughafen Terminal (S)"
  • Take the local train S1 or S11 in the direction of Düsseldorf central station "Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof" up to the station "Düsseldorf Völklinger Straße" (8 stops)
  • Take the tram 709 in direction "D-G'heim, Krankenhaus" and get off at the station "D-Landtag/Kniebrücke" (3 stops)
  • Turn left relative to the trams direction towards the river
  • Keep on the left hand side of the brige and head down to the river bank
  • The desintation is some 250 m from the tram stop on the river bank

Directions (from Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof)

Travel time is approx. 25 minutes
  • Take the local train S1 or S11 in the direction away from "Düsseldorf Flughafen" up to the station "Düsseldorf Völklinger Straße"
  • Then proceed as indicated above
  • ... or find some more direct route
