Effective communication of complex content and context plays a crucial role in making sophisticated information accessible to a broad audience and enhancing understanding. This approach is especially relevant in fields like science communication, information technology, and civil engineering, where clarity and engagement can profoundly impact comprehension. Artificial intelligence offers innovative methods to make content more engaging and comprehensible, to foster creativity in developing ideas, and thus to significantly improve the effectiveness of communication.

In this interactive presentation, participants will explore the potential of AI to enhance the communication of complex topics, including generating innovative images, comparisons, and analogies to clarify intricate material. Additionally, we will discuss responsible AI use in this context. It would be a good idea for participants to bring a device capable of connecting to the internet.

Markus is not your typical AI expert. Instead, his expertise lies in the realm of communication. With a background in Biophysics, Markus works as a trainer and systemic coach, specializing in empowering individuals within scientific and technical domains. He focuses on enabling his clients to optimize meeting dynamics for enhanced productivity, refine personal organizational strategies for efficient task completion, and craft compelling content that captivates audiences.

Markus is with Mensa since 2002 and has participated in numerous events with workshops and lectures, as a moderator or in the organizing team.

Notes

Please accept that we charge for this event in order to pay for the rent of the room. It would be unfair to include the rent into the base fee of the IBD+ 2025 making everyone pay for it instead of just those attending the presentations and workshops. Furthermore, experience from former annual gatherings in Germany have shown that if a presentation or workshop has a price tag rather those interested sign up for it thus offering them a better chance to get a slot. Thank you.

We have three rooms for the presentations and workshops in DUS Conference Plus that can accommodate a different number of guests. We will swap rooms if the interest in the event suggests we do so.

We suggest that you bring a laptop and/or tablet such that you can try out some of the things Markus will be showing.

Walking time 15 minutes (600 m)
  • Take the foot bridge in front of Maritim Hotel towards the airport terminal C
  • Go to the level for departures
  • Walk through the terminal passing the first "airplane finger" to which the airplanes dock
  • DUS Conference plus is near the second "airplane finger"
  • You'll find an escalator ("Rolltreppe") to take you up to DUS Conference plus
