Silke Brodbeck

This presentation takes a view over the crime scene work in murder cases over time. Starting from Hans Gross, an Austrian lawyer who is the grandfather of criminalistics and ending at modern laser scanning at crime scene work. It will show, which areas have changed with the times and what has changed. And, which areas, surprisingly haven’t changed.

What is the difference between crime scene work in 1900 and today? What are the similarities?

Short vita

Notes

Please accept that we charge for this event in order to pay for the rent of the room. It would be unfair to include the rent into the base fee of the IBD+ 2025 making everyone pay for it instead of just those attending the presentations and workshops. Furthermore, experience from former annual gatherings in Germany have shown that if a presentation or workshop has a price tag rather those interested sign up for it thus offering them a better chance to get a slot. Thank you.

We have three rooms for the presentations and workshops in DUS Conference Plus that can accommodate a different number of guests. We will swap rooms if the interest in the event suggests we do so.
