The ‘Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus’ (also called
D'haus) was built in the 1960s and is categorised as organic architecture within the postwar modernism. It was extensively renovated between 2016 and 2020.
We'll take a behind-the-scenes look during the guided tour. Where is the ensemble before the performance begins? What secret corridors are there behind the walls of the foyer? What does the make-up department look like and where are the costumes made?
(If the building looks familiar to you: The 'Düsseldorfer Schaupielhaus' is one of the motifs for the desktop background of Microsoft Windows 7.)
