Achim Sondermann

Discofox ("step-step-tap") is by far the most common partner dance in the wild in Germany. Easy to learn, without bar limits and (using a common cheat) open to all figures of the world dance program.

This course is intended for absolute beginners, for dancers who are unfamiliar with this dance and for couples whose leader is never at a loss for an excuse. So that it says: "Darf ich bitten?”.

Come as you are. Discofox can be danced in a tuxedo and ball gown as well as in jeans and sneakers, boots and parkers or even at the beach. From the simple basic step, it's less about fancy figures and more about an exciting journey together, with clear roles.

Short vita

Achim is a 55-year-old software writer and takes every opportunity to dance in the wild. If he regrets anything, it's that he focused more on steps than on the exciting journey together.

Notes

Please accept that we charge a bit for this course in order to pay for the rent of the room of the dance school. Thank you.

Important notes

The course is in a dancing school on good parquet so that regular street shoes are not quite ok.

Dancing starts at 12:15 to give to time to change shoes etc.

Hint for booking

When booking please indicate if you dance as follower or as leader since the plan is that you dance in pairs.

If you want to e.g. join this as a couple, then book two slots and then set the options to 0 for the first (default) one and 1 for the two "I dance as follower" and "I rather lead" and put the membership number or email address of the second person into the field "I book for me and...".
