The presentation explores various psychological processes that can influence human thinking and behaviour.

The first focus area, "Faulty Decisions", examines the foundations of human decision-making and the typical factors that can hinder a "good" decision.

The second focus area, "Conspiracy Theories", highlights the origins and impact of false or distorted information, and how such information – depending on communication channels and media – can develop into complex "conspiracy scenarios".

The third focus area, "Cognitive Biases", explores the underlying cognitive processes and the potential interferences or uncertainties to which they may be subject.

Notes

Please accept that we charge for this event in order to pay for the rent of the room. It would be unfair to include the rent into the base fee of the IBD+ 2025 making everyone pay for it instead of just those attending the presentations and workshops. Furthermore, experience from former annual gatherings in Germany have shown that if a presentation or workshop has a price tag rather those interested sign up for it thus offering them a better chance to get a slot. Thank you.
