Some visitors of the IBD
+ 2025 will probably need to arrive on Wednesday:
- ExComm members so that they can meet on Thursday morning
- Part of the organisation committee to prepare the organisation office and some other things
- The odd guest who booked a pre tour
- Some visitor wanting to be on-site early
Being one ot those impacted and not keen on spending the evening alone in my hotel room or some restaurant I organise this pre-event dine around - usually called "Richtig früh Ankommer"... and here it is for IBD

We have several tables reserved in the "Rheinische Stuv" in Maritim Hotel since that is convenient for ExComm and organisation committee and perhaps others too and the seats will be given to IBD delegates and the organisation team foremost, obviously.
Dine around in the restaurant "Rheinische Stuv" in Maritim Hotel where you can choose from the dishes below.
You will get a coupon for the dish chosen that will be your "meal ticket" in the restaurant. Everything else you get you need to pay on-site.

The name of this dish translates to "half tooster" as well as in slang "have a half one" and means the latter as "half a bun" - Portion of Minced Meat (small dish!) (Portion Mett):

Please note that the last two dishes are pretty small; if you want them just as starters, please select your main dish and order the starter in the restaurant in addition
As desert you might want to opt for

Hint for booking
When booking please select the dish you want to eat. The first one on the list is the default but might not quite be what you prefer; the price indicated for the other dishes is the respective price difference since the first one included. And yes, the two small dishes at the end of the list are cheaper than the default one.
If you want to e.g. join this as a couple, then book two slots and then select two dishes (be it different ones or the same for both) and the membership number or email address of the second person into the field "I book for me and...".
The reason we let you pick your dish when booking (and pay for it) is that without a pre-order quite a few restaurants can't cope with so many visitors happening by at pretty much the same time.
For annual gatherings in Germany this event is not part of the main event - but for IBD
2025 with potentially quite a few visitors as well as the request by the restaurant that we pre-order the food it is much more convinient for all to include it in the main event.
