Kiepe Electric is a German manufacturer of traction equipment for many decades and today an international pioneer in electric mobility. Over 5,000 trains and buses equipped with Kiepe technology operate emission-free around the world.
First there is a 30-minute presentation of the company. We then take a tour of the production facility, including the system test field.

Travel time is about 85 minutes ... including some waiting time for the trains you will take since being late is no option.
- Take the foot bridge in front of Maritim Hotel towards the airport terminal C
- Head for the local transport train station in the basement of terminal C "Düsseldorf Flughafen Terminal (S)"
- Take the local train S1 or S11 to Düsseldorf central station "Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof"
- Take the local tran S6 direction of Cologne "Köln-Worringen" up to "Düsseldorf-Reisholz"
- Keeping a bit to the left of the tracks follow "Spanger Straße" in the direction the train took for some 500m
- Turn left into "Bublitzer Straße"
- Turn right next crossing to stay on "Bublitzer Straße" after some 85m
- The destination is on the left-hand side after some 75m
