A structured and engaging computing workshop designed for school-aged learners.

Through a series of puzzles, patterns, and logical challenges, participants will develop core problem-solving and reasoning skills in a hands-on, interactive format.

The session includes a light competitive element to encourage participation, teamwork, and creativity. No prior experience is required — just curiosity and a willingness to take on the challenge.

Short vita

Mursal Siyid is a computer science teacher and education leader with over 15 years of experience in secondary schools. With a background in IT, electronics, and linguistics, he brings a broad and inclusive approach to computing.

He is passionate about using puzzles and interactive learning to make computer science accessible, engaging, and relevant to all learners.

Notes

Please accept that we charge for this event in order to pay for the rent of the room. It would be unfair to include the rent into the base fee of the IBD+ 2025 making everyone pay for it instead of just those attending the presentations and workshops. Furthermore, experience from former annual gatherings in Germany have shown that if a presentation or workshop has a price tag rather those interested sign up for it thus offering them a better chance to get a slot. Thank you.
