Meet to learn, trust, and enjoy
If you are interested in discussing autism or ADHD or other Neurodiversities, and how they might interact with giftedness, this is aimed at you.
There will be no pressure to share and you don't have to be diagnosed to attend.
This is meant to be a safe and inclusive space for discussion for anyone who wants to connect and learn more about this area.
Many of us are wounded and respect should be in the very center of our rules.
At EMAG Cardiff, a similar invite resulted in a chat community to openly exchange and connect.
Maybe we want to establish something similar on a global level.
There is already a global group called mental health on Mensa Hub.
Nevertheless I propose to frame a different purpose.
Celebrate our specialty, its advantages and have fun together.
This is on a late slot and maybe some of us want to join for a dinner table afterwards... assuming we all booked the same dinner location or head elsewhere.
Please accept that we charge for this event in order to pay for the rent of the room. It would be unfair to include the rent into the base fee of the IBD+ 2025 making everyone pay for it instead of just those attending the presentations and workshops. Furthermore, experience from former annual gatherings in Germany have shown that if a presentation or workshop has a price tag rather those interested sign up for it thus offering them a better chance to get a slot.
