The factory tour includes an informative multimedia show, a visit to the company museum, a comprehensive insight into our production facilities, and a Q&A session over tea and pastries.
Knowledgeable hostesses are available to answer any questions you may have about Teekanne and their products. Of course, there's also plenty of time to enjoy a cup of tea!
You'll get to see how tea bags are produced - since that happens in a clean surrounding (fortunately) you won't be standing directly at the production machines. Instead Teekanne has a path with huge glass windows offering you a good view on the production lines.
After the tour you're welcome to visit the Teekanne shop (Werksverkauf) where they offer many intersting products at advantagous prices.
Sorry, the sport from norther Germany, where you throw tea bags at a distance, ist not on offer during this tour.
Important notes
The company requires a list of participants with first and last name. If you book this event, you agree that we pass this data on to Teekanne and you wil follow the rules outlined below. You accept that this ticket is non-transferable as of October 1
st since we then pass on the personal information - and everybody must book it individually due to the need to send your personal data.
To ensure product quality and security you need to abide to these rules:
- Upon arrival you will get a badge that you need to wear visible during your visit and return it when leaving.
- You want to wear flat and comfortable shoes.
- You many not bring any food or other beverages; even chewing gum is not allowed.
- You may not bring any pets.
- Smoking is prohibited.
- You may not take any photos or film on the company's site.
- Please follow the guide closely as a group and stay on the designated walkways.
- Please follow all instructions given by our hostesses. Failure to comply will result in them canceling the tour.
- People with illnesses that might impact food security like infectious gastroenteritis, typhoid/paratyphoid, viral hepatitis A and E, infected wounds, and skin diseases etc. may not join the tour.
To make sure here's the official German version of these rules:
- Alle Besucher erhalten bei der Ankunft einen Besucherausweis, den sie während des gesamten Besuchs sichtbar bei sich tragen müssen. Am Ende des Besuchs müssen die Besucherausweise wieder zurückgegeben werden.
- Wir empfehlen Ihnen auch im Hinblick auf den Produktionsrundgang, flache, bequeme Schuhe zu tragen.
- Das Mitnehmen von Lebensmitteln und Getränken, einschließlich Kaugummis auf den Produktionsrundgang ist nicht gestattet.
- Das Mitführen von Haustieren auf unserem Betriebsgelände ist streng verboten.
- Während der gesamten Betriebsbesichtigung besteht absolutes Rauchverbot.
- Auf dem gesamten Betriebsgelände darf nicht fotografiert oder gefilmt werden.
- Bitte folgen Sie dem Führer Ihrer Gruppe in dichtem Abstand und bleiben Sie zusammen, damit die Gruppe nicht auseinanderreißt. Bleiben Sie bitte auf den vorgeschriebenen Wegen.
- Befolgen Sie bitte alle Anweisungen unserer Hostessen. Bei Zuwiderhandlungen sind sie berechtigt, die Betriebsbesichtigung abzubrechen.
- Personen, die an Krankheiten leiden, wodurch die Lebensmittelsicherheit beeinflusst werden könnten z.B.: Infektiöse Gastroenteritis, Typhus/Paratyphus, Virushepatitis A und E, Infizierte Wunden und Hauterkrankungen dürfen leider nicht am Rundgang teilnehmen und sollten daher auf einen Besuch verzichten.
