A pedestrian bridge connects the hotel with Terminal C of Düsseldorf Airport - just a short walk thus.
Düsseldorf's central railway station is connected via S-Bahn line S11 to Düsseldorf Airport Terminal C.
The hotel is conveniently accessible through the highways (“Autobahnen”) A44, A52 and A3.

By Plane to Düsseldorf

You want to fly into Düsseldorf Airport (DUS)

Attention: Make sure to fly to Düsseldorf Airport (“Flughafen Düsseldorf”) with the airport code DUS and not the Airport “Niederrhein” that is sometimes shown as Airport “Düsseldorf Niederrhein” with the airport code NRN.

On the Düsseldorf Airport website, you can find information on flights, services, and further passenger information. An Airport Map as PDF is online too.

Once you have passed through security and customs, you will be on level 0. The best way to reach the hotel is to take the exit near the REWE supermarket on level 1 in Pier C, and then follow the covered pedestrian bridge/pathway.

After landing at DUS Airport, it is a short walk to Maritim Hotel:
  • As you exit customs you will arrive in the arrivals hall.
  • Stay on the same level, turn right, and walk all the way to the far end of the airport building where you will see a "REWE" supermarket.
  • Just before you reach the "REWE" supermarket, take the doors on your left to exit the terminal building.
  • Once outside, turn right and follow the red signs to the Maritim Hotel to reach its main entrance next to the hotel reception.

Alternatively, you can:
  • Go up one level to the departure area
  • Head in the same direction as indicated above – that is towards “check-in 272”.
  • Exit the building next to check-in 272, turn right and follow the red signs to the Maritim Hotel.
  • You’ll reach the hotel via a footbridge that brings you to the conference level.
  • The reception is one level down.

By Plane via Frankfurt or any other airport

You might want to consider flying to Frankfurt Airport (FRA) and taking the train from there to Düsseldorf Main Station.

This option may offer you a wider choice of possible flights, or cheaper ones.

If you are considering this option, you want to check whether you can book the train ticket when booking your flight so that you don't have to worry about that ticket upon arrival.

If you fly into another airport you want to take a train to Düsseldorf:

Depending on your connection, you will arrive at
  • The railway station at Düsseldorf Airport: “Düsseldorf Flughafen”
  • Düsseldorf central station: “Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof”
  • Or the local train station “Düsseldorf Flughafen Terminal”

From all these it is just a few minutes to the hotel. See the section on "By Train" for the last part of your trip.

After arriving at the railway station “Düsseldorf Flughafen” by train (or by S-Bahn S1):

  • Get off the train and follow the signs to “Terminal via SkyTrain”.
  • Board any SkyTrain - it runs every 5 minutes during daytime and during the night related to to arrivals and departures. It takes about 7 minutes to reach the final stop: “Terminal – Gates C”.
  • Get off the SkyTrain and take the elevator or escalator to the departure level (Abflug).
  • You’re now inside the terminal building and walk towards check-in 272.
  • Exit the building next to check-in 272, turn right and follow the red signs to the Maritim Hotel.
  • You’ll reach the hotel via a footbridge that brings you to the Conference level.
  • The reception is one level down.

By Train via Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof

From Düsseldorf central station take the local train S-Bahn S11 to “Düsseldorf Flughafen" - and get off at “Düsseldorf Flughafen Terminal” and proceed as detailed below.

Alternatively you can grab a taxi (costs approximately 25€) to Martim Hotel.

By Train via Düsseldorf Flughafen Terminal

  • After getting off follow the yellow signs towards “Terminal A, B, C.”
  • Take the moving walkway up to the terminal building. You'll end up on arrivals level, right next to of McDonald’s.
  • With McDonald’s behind you, turn right and walk all the way to the end of the airport building where you will see a "REWE" supermarket.
  • Just before you reach the "REWE" supermarket, take the doors on your left to exit the terminal building.
  • Once outside, turn right and follow the red signs to the Maritim Hotel to reach its main entrance next to the hotel reception.

Alternatively - especially if it is raining -, you can:
  • Go up one level to the departure area.

By Bus

Düsseldorf can be reached by modern coaches from various European cities. Numerous routes currently connect around 132 destinations to Düsseldorf. The new, central long-distance coach station with comfortable waiting areas for travellers is located on Worringer Straße right next to the central railway station. Check the "By Train" sections above on how to get to the venue from there.

A bus stop at Düsseldorf Airport train station exists as well, but not all lines will stop there.

By Car

If you come by car you want to use your navigation system – but just in case here are up-front directions:
  • You can reach the Maritim Hotel via the Autobahn (highway) A44, taking the exit “Düsseldorf Flughafen”.
  • Continue in the direction of “Ankunft/Arrivals” and follow the signs to “Airport City.”
  • The Maritim Hotel Düsseldorf will be directly in front of you.

Address: Maritim Hotel Düsseldorf, Maritim-Platz 1, 40468 Düsseldorf

The Maritim Hotel has some parking – at a price (38€ per day)! Charging stations for electric cars are also available.

An alternative to think about, and perhaps even quite a bit cheaper. is to park at the Düsseldorf Airport as offered by Parkos.com or by Düsseldorf Airport, which is a short walk to the hotel.
