The Nürburgring, located in the Eifel region of Germany, is more than just a racetrack; it's an iconic motorsport destination renowned worldwide. At the heart of the complex lies the legendary Nordschleife, a 20.832-kilometer circuit often referred to as “The Green Hell” due to its challenging layout and demanding nature.

Opened in the 1920s, the Nürburgring quickly gained a reputation for its demanding layout, featuring blind corners, elevation changes, and high-speed sections. It has hosted numerous Formula One Grand Prix events and continues to be a popular venue for various racing series, including the 24 Hours Nürburgring, one of the world's most grueling endurance races.

The Nordschleife offers a unique driving experience unlike any other. Its combination of fast straights, slow corners, and elevation changes makes it a true test of a driver's skill. The circuit's length and varying conditions keep drivers on their toes and make every lap a new challenge.

Not being professional racers, we can experience the thrill of the Nordschleife during our driving sessions. We will team up, jump into a race cab and join a professional driver for some adrenaline goose bumps.

We will gather an insight into the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, the iconic endurance race that attracts teams from all over the world and offers spectators an unforgettable experience.

At the development centre, many car manufacturers test and develop their new vehicles at the Nürburgring to ensure they are up to the most demanding conditions.

The Nürburgring is more than just a racetrack. It's a destination with something for everyone. There will be some time to discover The RingWerk being an interactive museum that tells the story of the Nürburgring, while the RingBoulevard offers a variety of stores and restaurants (food, drinks, entrance fees etc are not included in the tour).

Whether you're a hardcore motorsport fan or simply looking for a unique driving experience, the Nürburgring is a must-visit destination. Its rich history, challenging layout, and world-class facilities make it a truly unforgettable experience.

Included are the transport and a ride with a “Renntaxi” as e.g. BMW3 M3 for one a lap around the “Nordschleife” with 2-3 guests in one car (your stomach might not be in for more than one lap anyhow :-))

Optionally (at a price) you can opt to be single guest in a “Renntaxi” as e.g. Porsche 911 GT2 RS 922 - if you're not into roller coasters you surely want to rethink this option 🙂

You will be picked up by a modern travel coach from Maritim Hotel Düsseldorf - and brought back there after the trip,

 

Program

08:00h

Transfer from Maritim Hotel Düsseldorf to Nürburgring (driving time approx. 2 hrs)

10:00-16:00h

Ride with a “Renntaxi” as e.g. BMW3 M3, one a lap around the “Nordschleife”.
While not driving a race taxi you can browse the shops and a museum on the race boulevard. There is also a restaurant on the track, where the race taxi starts, where waiting guests can stop for a snack or a drink.
The exact schedule for the racing cabs only will be done at the earliest at the end of July 2025.
A lap is 21 kilometres long and takes between 8 and 10 minutes, depending on the weather, vehicle, traffic, co-driver, etc.

Transfer back to your hotel.

• Private transfer in a modern travel coach from Maritim Hotel Duesseldorf to Nürburgring and back to your hotel
• Ride with a “Renntaxi” like a BMW3 M3, one a lap around the "Nordschleife" with 2-3 guest per taxi.
• Optional upgrade is a ride as single guest in a "Renntaxi" like a Porsche 911 GT2 RS 922 for an extra 250€.
