Directions (from IBD Hotel)

Travel time is about 80 minutes ... including some potential waiting time for the trains you will take.
  • Leave the Maritim Hotel through the main entrance on the ground floor next to the reception
  • Turn left and walk past the staircase tower of "Parking 8" towards the airport building and enter it
  • You are now on the arrivals level - follow the signs for "S-Bahn S11/Local trains"
  • Just in front of McDonald’s, take the moving walkway down to the station
  • Take the local train S11 to Düsseldort central Station "Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (Hbf)" (5 stops)
    The S11 to "Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (Hbf)" departs from platforms 10 and 11
  • U76 (option 1)
    • Take the local train U76 towards "Krefeld Rheinstraße" up to "D-Prinzenallee" (10 stops)
    • After leaving the train walk in the opposite direction the train back to the junction and turn right into "Brüsseler Straße"
    • After some 250 meters cross "Willstätter Straße", the destination is right in front of you
  • U75 (option 2)
    • Take the local train U75 towards "Neuss Hauptbahnhof" up to "Heerdter Krankenhaus" (9 stops)
    • Go back to the last junction and turn left into "Heerdter Lohweg"
    • After crossing the bridge (some 300 meters) turn right into "Viersener Straße"
    • At the end of the street turn right onto "Willstätter Straße"
    • After some 200 meters the destination is on your right

Travel time is approx. 30 minutes
  • The route above passes through Düsseldorf central sation "Düsseldorf Hbf"
  • Proceed accordingly as indicated above
