We are excited to welcome you at the German Annual Gathering (“Jahrestreffen” in German, abbrevation: JT) in the city of Munich! On this page, you will find some information in order to prepare your visit.

The JT26 is organized by a team of 16 volunteers plus many more volunteers. Please bear in mind that not everything will be perfect or made in other ways as you might have done it by yourself – in the end, the JT26 is organized in our sparetime. We tried our best to create a nice experience in Munich.
We hope you will enjoy your time at the JT26!
These five days are packed with a wonderful program: sightseeing tours, company tours, sporting activities, escape rooms, fun events, guided museum visits, art and culture, presentations and workshops, … you name it. From this program, choose your individual events and create your own Munich experience!
Please note that generally all events are in German; however, we organized special tours in English. You can find these events in the category “English-speaking events”.
Events can be booked at our booking plattform. Please create an account (see below) in order to join JT26 – thank you.
Each event is explained by its own. Please note that some events might require some more information upfront (e.g. name list at a company’s visit, earlier booking deadline, …). In case you want to book this event, you will have to accept the indicated information.
You can see the prices per event at our booking plattform. Please note that we charge a general base fee from each participants in order to cover fixed costs (e.g. hotel facilities).
As per 31st January 2026, bookings are open for two weeks (“early booking phase”). Within two weeks, you can chose your events and indicate your preference (2 = definitely want that event, 1 = nice to have, 0 = if there is a space left). Reserving an event during this phase does not mean yet that you will get a spot, but that you want to attend.
On 17th Feb 2026, the algorithm tries to suit as many people as possible their preferred spots. You will get notified which events you are then booked on.
From 18th February to 01st March 2026, you are allowed to switch and change your bookings free of charge.
On 2nd March 2026, you will receive your invoice and bookings can not be amended or changed anymore. (After that date, you will still be able to book additional events but won’t be able to cancel anything.)
In order to book the JT and its events, you will need a profile at our account plattform: db.mensa.de.
After entering all your data, you will need to accept the “Nutzungsbedingungen” (due to German law, this has to be in German language).
Please note that by default your account will use your email address as username!
After you have successfully registered on our database, you will be able to login with your username (registered email address) and your self-set password.
If you have trouble to login, please make sure you used the email address as username when creating the account. You might also want to reset the password. If you still have login issues, please get in touch with office@mensa.de indicating your name and email adress you used when registering. We will get back to you asap.
